Mubadala to invest INR 90.93 billion for 1.85% equity stake in Jio Platforms
Reliance Industries and Jio Platforms have announced that Abu Dhabi-based investor Mubadala will invest INR 90.93 billion in Jio Platforms at an equity value of INR 4.91 trillion and an enterprise value of INR 5.16 trillion. Mubadala’s investment will translate into a 1.85 percent equity stake in Jio Platforms on a fully diluted basis.

With this investment, Jio Platforms has raised INR 876.55 billion from global technology and growth investors including Facebook, Silver Lake, Vista Equity Partners, General Atlantic, KKR and Mubadala in less than six weeks.

Jio Platforms, a subsidiary of Reliance Industries, currently has more than 388 million subscribers across India.
