Netflix ups price for streaming, DVDs plan
Netflix announced a new pricing structure for its DVD rental and online streaming plans. For unlimited DVD use, the company offers two plans: USD 7.99 a month for the one DVD out at-a-time plan and USD 11.99 a month for the two DVDs out at-a-time plan. Streaming will be a separate subscription, and Netflix will no longer be offering unlimited plans that include both streaming and DVDs by mail. The unlimited streaming plan will remain at USD 7.99 a month. However, the price for getting both unlimited streaming and unlimited DVDs will be USD 15.98 a month (USD 7.99 + USD 7.99), up from the previous offer of USD 9.99 per month. For new Netflix members, the changes will be effective immediately. For existing members, the new pricing will start frrom 1 September.

Online video rental group Netflix has agreed to carry programs by Spanish-language broadcaster Grupo Televisa in Latin America. Online video rental group Netflix's revenues for the second quarter rose to USD 770 million from USD 520 million in the year-earlier quarter. Netflix to launch in UK, Spain in Q1 2012 – report

Netflix will go live on the UK market in 2012, Variety reports, citing sources at a few European film distributors. According to these sources, Netflix execs informed them of plans to reach the UK and Spain in the first quarter of 2012.
