OnePlus has announced some of the details of its next smartphone, the OnePlus 6. In a teaser campaign on Twitter and a forum post from CEO Pete Lau, the company said the new device will run the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, 8 GB RAM and 256 GB internal memory. The aim is to create the best possible "burdenless" user experience, Lau said.
The first pictures of the OnePlus 6 show it will feature a top notch, the same as many other recent high-end phones, to house the front camera and sensors at the top of the screen. The screen size is expected to be around 6.2 inches. No launch date has been announced yet.
Lau said the company has a special Team FSE (Fast, Stable, Efficient) working on the phone. "Their focus is solely on maximizing the power of our flagship devices" and to make sure that OnePlus devices "offer the fastest, and smoothest, user experience available", he said.
