Orange launches FTTH network in Spain

Orange has commercially launched its FTTH network in Spain. The service is currently available in the La Vaguada area in the Spanish capital of Madrid. The network also covers select areas in the neighbourhoods of Retiro, Montecarmelo, Sanchinarro, Chamberi and Vicalvaro in Madrid. Over the next 12 months, Orange plans to extend its FTTH coverage to 400,000 buildings.
