Reliance Jio to start charging from April
Indian operator Reliance Jio announced that it will start charging for its services from 01 April and unveiled its new plans. The mobile operator has amassed over 100 million subscribers since launching last September with an offer of free services. 

Its new plans all come with free calls and SMS and unlimited data at night as well as a bundle of data for daytime use, starting at 100 MB for INR 19 and going up to 20 GB for INR 1,499. Postpaid and higher-end plans also come with reduced international rates and some with bundles of international minutes. 

The plans are valid for 28 days as prepaid or as postpaid. They also include a bundle of data for Wi-Fi at Jio hotspots and free access to the Reliance live apps and entertainment services. 

According to the Economic Times, Jio also introduced a temporary offer available until the end of March to join 'Jio Prime'. The annual membership costs INR 99.90 and then customers pay INR 303 per month (prepaid) for up to 30 GB data and unlimited calls.
