Rostelecom presents corporate strategy to 2025, including plans for IPO

Russian national operator Rostelecom has presented its corporate strategy for the period to 2025. The strategy adopted by the company's management board mentions a possible IPO to raise funds. 

The company plans to continue its development as the largest Russian integrated provider of digital services and systems. Targets include growing its consumer customer base to more than 100 million.

Rostelecom plans to attract strategic partners and public funds for certain of its business segments through an initial public offering of shares. The company also wants to grow revenues from new digital products to 25 percent of all revenues. The OIBDA margin is expected to grow to over 40 percent in five years through cost savings and internal efficiencies.

Rostelecom is looking for revenues in 2025 of more than RUB 700 billion. OIBDA is expected to grow by 50 percent, and the net profit to double. Capex will remain at 2020 levels.
