Sony has announced the launch of Playstation TV in Europe, a set-top-box that gives users access to on-demand and catch-up TV content, as well as the company's library of PS Vita, PSP, PS One and PlayStation Minis games. The device is available for EUR 99 and comes with 1 GB of built-in storage and a voucher for three PS Vita games: Olliolli, Worms Revolution Extreme and Velocity Ultra. It also features PS4 remote play, which allows users to stream PS4 games to another TV and carry on playing where they left off.
Sony added that the service will eventually become compatible with PlayStation Now, the company’s game streaming service that’s currently available as a beta in the US. The VOD service is only available via PlayStation Store in the UK, France, Germany, Italy and Spain.
