Tele Columbus to offer mobile phone service
German cable operator Tele Columbus is starting its own a mobile phone service from 01 September. The offer includes free calls to all German mobile and fixed networks as well as 2 GB of LTE data at up to 50 Mbps for EUR 19.99 per month. The mobile service can be booked by current and new customers in combination with the "2er Kombi" and "3er Kombi" cable network packages. 

For EUR 4.99 per month, heavy internet users can increase their data volume by an additional gigabyte. Mobile numbers can be ported free of charge when changing from another mobile service provider. The one-time setup price is EUR 24.90; the minimum contract duration is 24 months. For the new mobile offering, Tele Columbus cooperates with Drillisch. The service is based on the Telefonica O2 network.
