Telia Company has joined forces with Swisscom and Proximus to invite the international start-up community to pitch ideas for virtual telecoms functions. The goal is to find innovations in the fields of Software Defined Networks (SDN) and Network Function Virtualisation (NFV). The best ideas will be picked out to pitch to an expert jury, with the chance of a PoC project and future collaboration with the three operators.
Martynas Spokas, head of data analytics, at Telia’s Purple+, said it aims to contact small companies and innovators who really understand networks and can solve customers' actual problems. The pitching event and announcement of the winners will take place in Zurich on 09 December 2016.
