TeliaSonera's Spanish unit Yoigo up for sale – report
Teliasonera is selling its Spanish mobile operator Yoigo, Reuters reports, citing four people familiar with the matter. The sale price has been set at around EUR 1 billion. The deal is expected to attract Carlos Slim, Vodafone and France Telecom as bidders. According to the same source, Teliasonera has hired Deutsche Bank to manage the disposal of its 76 percent stake in Yoigo, as it exits non-core markets in favor of its Scandinavian heartland and higher-growth central Asia.

France Telecom CEO rejects merger with Deutsche Telekom

France Telecom CEO Stephane Richard has rejected speculation of a merger with Deutsche Telekom. In an interview with the Financial Times, he said "there is definitely no plan for a merger", noting this would likely prove unpopular with investors and he sees no "real interest in terms of value creation". TeliaSonera cuts FY outlook on mobile slowdown

TeliaSonera lowered its outlook for the full year due to a slowdown in key mobile markets.
