TIM to air Handmaid's Tale exclusively in Italy
TIM (Telecom Italia) has announced an agreement with MGM Television to distribute the TV series "The Handmaid's Tale" exclusively in Italy. The series, fresh from receiving 13 nominations at the 2017 Emmy Awards, will be broadcast on the TIMvision video-on-demand service starting in September. Additional TIMvision exclusives coming in the autumn include "The Good Fight", the spin-off of the series "The Good Wife", plus "Snatch", the TV series based on the film of the same name.

TIM (Telecom Italia) has announced a new deal with Italy-based production company Notorious Pictures to offer a total of 71 Italian and international films to its video-on-demand customers. Telecom Italia (TIM) is in negotiations with US media group Discovery and Italian broadcaster Mediaset over the possibility of launching joint bids for the upcoming Serie A and Champions League football broadcasting rights, reports Il Sole 24 Ore.
