UK homes failing to protect smart devices from cyber attack - research

All UK homes are gradually becoming smart homes, with each family owning on average five smart home devices, according to research conducted by Censuswide for e-mail and security software provider Open-Xchange. Despite this, only 15 percent of UK families protect their IoT devices with software and apps, with 17 percent not using any protection at all.
