US Congress probing Google deal with China's Huawei

Members of the US Congress have expressed concern about Google's relationship with China's Huawei Technologies shortly after scrutinising Facebook's data sharing agreements with the same company and Chinese rivals Oppo, TCL and Lenovo. A group of legislators including Senator Mark Warner have instructed staffers to probe the Google-Huawei partnership, with unnamed sources cited by the Wall Street Journal reporting that they're also considering more formal action, such as issuing a group letter demanding answers from Google.
