Vodafone Turkey names Deegan as new CEO
Vodafone Turkey appointed Colman Deegan as CEO, effective 19 September. He will report to Vodafone Group Africa, Middle East, Asia and the Pacific region CEO Serpil Timuray. Timuray will also assume the chairman role of Vodafone Turkey's board. 

Most recently, Deegan was Vodafone Italy's executive vice president of Finance. Deegan began his career at Vodafone in 1998. He replaces Gokhan Ogut who is leaving the company to evaluate other opportunities.

Turk Telekom CEO resigns

Turk Telekom's CEO Rami Aslan has decided to resign, after serving as CEO since December 2013. The company did not give a reason for his departure. Aslan will continue serving in the executive committee and board of directors of Turk Telekom, in addition to his CEO and board member role at parent company Oger Telecom. He will serve as CEO at Turk Telekom until a new appointment is made.

Cavaleri named new Vodafone Italia finance director

Vodafone Italia has announced the appointment of Barbara Cavaleri as its new finance director, replacing Colman Deegan, who has been named new Vodafone Turkey CEO. Cavaleri, who has been at Vodafone since 1999, has held a number of positions including head of planning, control and business intelligence, and finance director of the Vodafone group technology division since 2014.

Vodafone Turkey grows service revenue 19.5% in June quarter

Vodafone Turkey reported organic service revenue growth of 19.5 percent year-on-year in the company's fiscal first quarter to June, in line with previous quarters at around 20 percent annual growth.
