WhatsApp sets new daily traffic record

Mobile messaging service WhatsApp announced a new traffic record. The company said on Twitter that its users sent over 10 billion messages and received another 17 billion in just one day, for a total of 27 billion messages in 24 hours. The company last reported a record on New Year's Eve last year of over 18 billion messages.
