Yahoo lifts revenues, profit in Q4, delays Verizon close

Yahoo said revenues for the fourth quarter lifted to USD 1.469 billion from 1.273 billion the year before, with the net result rising to a gain of USD 162 million from a loss the year earlier of 4.530 billion. Earnings per diluted share went up to USD 0.17 from a loss of 4.70 while the adjusted EBITDA lifted to USD 324 million from 215 million. The year before, the company took a goodwill impairment charge of USD 4.530 million.
