Yoigo launches first unlimited data plan in Spain, with fibre contract

The Yoigo brand of Spanish operator Masmovil has launched the first all-you-can-eat mobile data plan available in the Spanish market, albeit tied to a fibre-optic broadband and fixed line contract. The new ‘Fibra + la Sinfin con GB infinitos’ plan comes with unlimited mobile data, unlimited mobile calls to all national numbers, a landline plus 50Mbps fibre-optic broadband for EUR 99 a month. In a statement, the operator said there are no limitations whatsoever to the mobile data offered although EU data roaming will be limited to 20GB a month.

Customers wanting to subscribe to 300Mbps fibre broadband can do so for an additional EUR 10 a month, rising to EUR 30 for 1Gbps fibre. Other options available include up to 3 more mobile lines with unlimited data for EUR 9 a month each, a Samsung J7 smartphone for a one-off payment of EUR 9 and, shortly, access to Sky Spain’s pay-TV package for EUR 9 a month. The new plan is initially available until 30 June.
