ZTE files TD-LTE patent infringement suit against Huawei

Chinese telecommunications equipment supplier ZTE has filed a lawsuit against rival Huawei Technologies over TD-LTE patents. ZTE alleges that Huawei infringed on three of its TD-LTE patents and the company filed a case at the Shenzhen Intermediate People's Court, the China Daily reports. ZTE is also asking the court to stop Huawei from participating in large-scale TD-LTE trials held in seven cities. The move by ZTE follows four lawsuits filed by Huawei against ZTE in Germany, France, and Hungary at the end of April, also over patent infringements. Huawei PR officer Shi Xiaoyan confirmed that the company received an indictment from the Shenzhen court.
