ZTE sues Huawei over patent infringement
ZTE has filed a lawsuit against Huawei for patent infringement over its LTE, mobile wireless technologies in China. ZTE requests that Huawei stops its violation, pays compensation to ZTE and takes up the legal responsibilities caused by the infringement, the company said. ZTE also plans to launch a series of legal actions globally to protect its rights on intellectual properties, ensuring its legitimate rights and interests will not be compromised. Huawei earlier filed lawsuits in Germany, France and Hungary against ZTE for alleged violation of Huawei patents relating to data card and LTE technologies and illegally using a Huawei trademark on some of its data card products.
