Altice Europe is struggling to sell its fibre network in Portugal, with some of the interested parties giving up, reports Jornal de Negocios. Spain's Cellnex has not been able to reach an agreement on the price of these assets, after weeks of negotiations, reveals Bloomberg, citing sources close to the process.
The bids submitted by interested parties valued the asset at between EUR 3.5 billion and EUR 4 billion, while Altice was seeking EUR 5 billion. Bloomberg also adds that Antin Infrastructure and Cube Infrastructure, which submitted bids in May, are no longer active in the negotiations.
