Amazon gives Prime customers free video streaming

Amazon.com is expanding in video-on-demand services with an offer of free video streaming for its Amazon Prime customers. They will have unlimited access to over 5,000 films and TV shows as part of their USD 79 annual membership fee for Amazon Prime.
Movies and TV shows included with an Amazon Prime membership can be watched on Macs, PCs and nearly 200 models of connected TVs, Blu-ray players and set-top boxes that are compatible with the Amazon Instant Video service. The selection of videos includes movies such as The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo trilogy, Amadeus, Syriana and Chariots of Fire, plus TV shows such as Doctor Who and Fawlty Towers. Amazon Prime is a membership programme that offers customers free two-day shipping from Amazon, with no minimum purchase requirement. The Amazon Instant Video service, which offers in total over 90,000 videos, remains open to other customers for rental fees.
