HTC forecasts net loss, lower sales in Q1
HTC forecast a further fall in results in the first quarter. Revenue is expected at TWD 34-36 billion, down from TWD 43 billion in the fourth quarter. The gross margin is expected to improve to around 21.75 percent from 17.8 percent in the last quarter, while the net result will be a loss of TWD 2.1-2.6 per share, reversing a profit of TWD 0.38 in Q4. 

HTC did not provide further details on its fourth-quarter handset sales. For January, it reported revenues of TWD 9.7 billion, down 38 percent from a year earlier. The company did announce a new licensing agreement with Nokia, putting an end to their multiple patent infringement cases. No financial details of the agreement were disclosed.

HTC posts Q1 loss, sales recover in March

Smartphone maker HTC reported first-quarter sales down 22.6 percent year-on-year to TWD 33 billion. However, sales returned to growth in March, up 2.2 percent from a year earlier to TWD 16.2 billion, more than double the amount in February. HTC reported revenues for February down 36.45 percent from a year earlier to TWD 7.225 billion. Compared to January, revenues fell 25.29 percent. Minder omzet, maar nettowinst voor HTC in vierde kwartaal

HTC heeft in het laatste kwartaal van vorig jaar een omzet gerealiseerd van 42,9 miljard Taiwanese dollar, omgerekend zo'n 1,04 miljard euro. De nettowinst van de Taiwanese fabrikant kwam uit op 0,31 miljard Taiwanese dollar, het operationeel verlies echter 1,6 miljard Taiwanese dollar. Nokia, HTC sign patent, technology collaboration agreement

Nokia and HTC settled all pending patent litigation between them, and signed a patent and technology collaboration agreement. HTC announced a net profit of TWD 0.31 billion for the fourth quarter, down from TWD 1.0 billion a year earlier. HTC reported a net loss of TWD 3.0 billion for the third quarter, versus a profit of TWD 3.9 billion a year earlier. HTC posts Q3 loss, sales down more than expected

HTC recorded a net loss of TWD 2.97 billion for the third quarter, on revenues down to TWD 47.05 billion. The operating loss was TWD 3.50 billion. The smartphone maker showed a small improvement in sales in September, which rose 38 percent from the previous month to TWD 18.15 billion.
