
Sellers will include Amazon.co.uk, John Lewis, Curry’s PCWorld, GAME and Harrods in the UK; Amazon.fr and FNAC in France; Amazon.de, MediaMarkt and Saturn in Germany; and Best Buy and Microsoft Store Online in Canada. Pre-orders start 16 August, with shipments and in-store sales from 20 September.
The Oculus Rift first went on sale in the US earlier this year. Participants in the company's Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign were the first to receive the virtual reality headset.
