RIM loses more top executives

Research In Motion has lost more senior executives, people close to the company told the Wall Street Journal. RIM last week announced the departure of its CTO and COO, alongside disappointing quarterly results and plans for a strategic review. Since then, several other senior executives have left RIM, the report said. One is Toronto-based Alistair Mitchell, vice president for BlackBerry Messenger. A RIM spokeswoman confirmed Mitchell was "no longer with RIM". San Francisco-based Alan Brenner, a senior vice president for the BlackBerry platform, is also leaving the company. The RIM spokeswoman said Brenner would be "leaving the company after a transition period".
