Rostelecom to acquire 30% stake in Tele2 Russia - report
Russia Bank has agreed to acquire an around 30 percent stake in the mobile operator Tele2 Russia from VTB, reports Vedomosti citing several unspecified sources. Russia Bank is acting as intermediary under the deal, and the national operator Rostelecom is the final buyer, according to the sources. VTB acquired Tele2 Russia at the end of April from the Tele2 group for USD 2.4 billion.

Russian national operator Rostelecom is in talks with the mobile operator Tele2 Russia to start offering MVNO services, Sergey Kalugin, the CEO of Rostelecom, told news agency Prime.
