Verizon Communications releases first Transparency Report
Verizon Communications has posted its first online Transparency Report, the first such report to be released by a telecommunications company. The report, which will be updated semi-annually, outlines the number of 2013 law enforcement requests for customer information that Verizon received in the US and other countries in which it does business.

Verizon releases transparency report for first half

US operator Verizon has released its transparency report for the first half of 2015. The overall number of demands for customer data rose to 149,810 from 138,656 in the second half of 2014. This included 69,524 subpoenas, 37,230 general orders, 3,325 pen registers/trap & trace orders, 767 wiretap orders, 15,081 warrants and 27,975 emergency requests.

Verizon to list USD 500 mln in retail notes on NYSE

Verizon Communications has closed its sale of USD 500 million of retail notes to a large number of investors in a transaction involving twenty-one underwriting firms. Verizon sold the notes in USD 25 increments and expects to list the notes on the New York Stock Exchange within the next 30 days. The retail notes will mature on 15 February 2054, and are subject to a call option five years after their issuance.

Verizon profit growth continues on wireless expansion

Verizon reported fourth-quarter revenues up 3.4 percent year-on-year to USD 31.1 billion, led by continued strong growth at its mobile activities and Fios services.
