Yahoo! partners with Google on display ads
Yahoo! has partnered with Google for displaying ads on some Yahoo! websites. The global, non-exclusive agreement is for display ads on various Yahoo! properties and certain co-branded sites using Google's AdSense for Content and AdMob services. Yahoo! already works with other ad-serving partners, such as Microsoft. It said the addition of Google would allow it to expand its network and deliver more useful ads to customers.

Online search marketing to grow to EUR 62 bln in 2016

The online search marketing worldwide revenues will rise from EUR 34 billion this year to EUR 62 billion in 2016, according to a study by Idate. Italy, Spain and China are behind as the internet has been slower to develop there. But penetration is expected to reach close to 90 percent by 2016. Local players tend to be strong in Asia, including Naver in South Korea, Baidu in China and Yahoo! Japan in Japan.
