Almost 40% of Germans listens to streaming music - study

Almost one in four (37%) German internet user older than 14 is using an online music streaming service, according to a survey executed by German market researcher Aris for German ICT federation Bitkom. Compared to 2013, the number of Germans using music streaming has grown by 14 million to around 20 million now. The survey shows a clear age difference in music streaming usage from more than half (53%) of the 14-29 year olds via 39 percent of the 30-49 year olds to 28 percent of the 50-64 year olds and 15 percent of the Germans older than 65.
