Cisco to acquire Sedona Systems to expand telco optical networking platform

Cisco announced an agreement to acquire Sedonasys Systems for an undisclosed sum. Also known as Sedona Systems, the company's main product is NetFusion, a hierarchical controller for optimising and automating network control for telecom operators.
