Croatian regulator to auction remaining digital dividend

Croatia's Agency for Post and Electronic Communications (Hakom) announced it will allocate the remaining digital dividend spectrum in a public auction. Two 2x5 MHz frequency blocks in the 800 MHz band will be offered for services based on LTE technology. The regulator set the starting price at HRK 105 million per block and expects proceeds of at least HRK 226 million from the auction. The deadline for submitting applications to participate is 28 October. Hakom auctioned two blocks of 2x10 MHz in the band at the end of 2012, which were won by Vipnet and Hrvatski Telekom.
