

Around 900,000 households use the Reggefiber networks. Reggefiber, a subsidiary of KPN, said last month that the penetration on its network reached 40 percent at the end of 2015. Multiple operators, in addition to KPN, are active on the Reggefiber network. The other 100,000 FTTH subscribers in the Netherlands use the CIF networks or networks run by small local providers.
In total, FTTH services are available in 229 municipalities in the country. Fibre accounted for a 13 percent share of the Dutch broadband market at the end of 2015, according to the Telecompaper report Dutch Broadband 2015 Q4.
