EU may seek more search concessions from Google

European Union regulators are trying to extract more concessions from Google after hostility to plans to settle the four-year antitrust probe into its search activities. The EU got "very, very negative" feedback to the proposed settlement from Google rivals, such as Microsoft and Expedia. They asked the EU to examine allegations that Google discriminates against rivals in search results, the EU commissioner for competition, Joaquin Almunia said in a Bloomberg TV interview in Italy.
