HP's chief marketing officer Antonio Lucio is moving to Facebook to take up the same position. Lucio worked three years at HP and was previously CMO also at Visa and PepsiCo. He replaces Gary Briggs, who stepped down in January after 4.5 years in the post and helped pick his successor.
The news was announced by Facebook's chief product officer, Chris Cox, on the social network. Lucio will report to Cox and work also with COO Sheryl Sandberg. He starts 04 September at Facebook.
