Finnish communications regulator Ficora said Finland and Estonia signed an agreement on 28 October on the use of the 700 MHz band. It guarantees interference-free operation of mobile broadband networks. It governs spectrum use in the coastal and sea areas in Finland and Estonia.
At the same meeting, the parties also updated other agreements on mobile broadband networks and discussed new bands for these, possible changes to maritime frequencies and the use of spectrum allocated to television broadcasting.
