The three French broadcasters behind Salto intend to invest EUR 135 million in their joint venture over three years, according to information gathered by La Lettre A. This would represent a significant increase compared to the original budget of EUR 45 million, initially earmarked by Salto's shareholders last year. France Televisions, M6 and TF1 are working to launch the SVoD service in the first quarter of 2020, following regulatory approval from the French competition authority.
