Google unveils Nexus 7 tablet, Android Jelly Bean

Google has unveiled an update to the Android OS as well as its first tablet. The Nexus 7 tablet features a 7-inch IPS touchscreen with 1280x800 HD display, running a Nvidia Tegra 3 processor and 1GB RAM. The 340g device offers 8 or 16GB of storage, front camera, NFC, the Chrome for Android browser and a range of pre-loaded content, plus a USD 25 credit to buy content on Google Play. It is available for preorder from Google Play in the US, UK, Canada and Australia, and starts at USD 199 in the US. It will start shipping mid-July. The new Android 4.1 OS, named Jelly Bean, will start rolling out
