Almost half of all UK homes will have got rid of their landline completely by the end of the decade if the current rate of decline continues, according to new research from personalised accessories company Wrappz.
An analysis of Ofcom data by Wrappz shows that 74 percent (20.9 million) of households now have a working landline, down from 85 percent (23.3 million) of homes in 2016. If this rate of decline is maintained, all UK homes will have got rid of their landline by June 2067.
