Maroc Telecom to lose ADSL monopoly

Moroccan telecom regulator ANRT has published a decision that will open up the ADSL market, for which Maroc Telecom's has a monopoly at present. The operator still disagrees with three measures, providing colocation of third-party operators' equipment in its existing cabinets, installing multi-operator cabinets for part of their future nodes and establishing an active wholesale offer for third-party operators under a virtual unbundled local access model.
