Mexican watchdog launches new antitrust probe in mobile market

Mexico's telecommunications regulator IFT has announced the launch of another investigation into possible monopolistic practices, this time concerning the country's mobile telecommunications market. The probe was initiated in response to a complaint and will look into possible breaches of competition law in both the retail of mobile services and the sale of mobile terminal equipment, said the watchdog.
