Samsung Electronics announced it will hold a 'Galaxy Unpacked' event on 11 August to unveil new mobile products. The company is expected to launch its new Galaxy Watch developed with Google as well as a new foldable phone.
The images and language in the invite ('get ready to unfold') suggest a new foldable is indeed on the way. Samsung said earlier this year that it was working on new larger, flexible screen designs and it is nearly a year since it introduced the Galaxy Z Fold2.
Samsung traditionally launches a new version of its Note series during the August event. However, a new Note may not be planned this year, after the company brought the key stylus feature to its main Galaxy S21 series of smartphones.
