True not to bid for 900MHz spectrum licence

Tuesday 17 May 2016 | 14:35 CET | News
Thai mobile operator True has announced it will not participate in the re-auction of 900MHz spectrum to be held by the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission on 27 May. True Group says it already has a very comprehensive spectrum portfolio with sufficiently large bandwidth totaling 55 MHz. The company reports it had already obtained an ideal combination of low-band and high-band frequencies for its coverage and capacity needs. This enables the company to address all market segments and ecosystems with its 4G, 3G and 2G networks nationwide.
