
For low-income households, the company will waive internet and voice service charges for current Lifeline customers for two months. There will also be a discount programme on Fios broadband plans from 3 April. Customers will be able to select any Verizon Fios speed in the Mix & Max plans and get a USD 20 monthly discount. They will also get Disney+ free for one year and the first two months of their router rental charge waived. Verizon said this means that Fios Home Internet 200/200 Mbps will cost USD 19.99 per month. The 400/400 Mbps service will cost USD 39.99 per month, and the Gigabit deal USD 59.99 per month (including Fios router). Customers will still qualify for promotions aimed at new Fios Home Internet subscribers.
Finally, consumer and small business Fios and DSL broadband internet plans will have no data caps.
