Xiaomi has released its new flagship devices in the Redmi series. The K40 comes with an upgraded display, sound and user experience, including a Samsung Amoled with 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Atmos and dual speakers and 4,520mAh battery. The phones also run the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 series processors, the same as the Mi 11 flagship.

The K40 with the Snapdragon 870 starts at CNY 1,999, while the Redmi K40 Pro and K40 Pro+ using the Snapdragon 888 cost from CNY 2,700 and CNY 3,699 respectively. All three phones have the same 6.67-inch display, with the main difference being the back camera, with main sensors of 48, 64 or 108 megapixels. Each has a triple camera, also with 8-megapixel wide-angle and 5-megapixel macro lenses, and a 20-megapixel front camera.

The series also includes the latest Wi-Fi 6 standard, with Wi-Fi 6E support on the Pro models. They will be available in the colours Glossy Black, Icy White, and Dreamland, with memory of 6 to 12 GB RAM and 128 or 256 GB storage.

The Redmi K40 and K40 Pro are available for preorder and launch in stores on 04 March. The K40 Pro+ will be available for purchase at the end of March.
