Ziggo-UPC take 57% of Dutch triple-play market

Triple-play subscriptions were used by 59 percent of Dutch households in Q4 2014, up from 50 percent a year and a half ago. One in twelve of those with triple-play also had a mobile subscription from the same provider (quad-play), according to the 'Triple Play Insights' report from Telecompaper. More than half of the triple-play customers (57%) get their three fixed services from Ziggo or UPC. Following the merger of the two cable operators, the new Ziggo has a majority of triple-play connections in all provinces except for Zeeland, Flevoland and Gelderland. KPN is second in the national
