Chinese manufacturer ZTE has unveiled its new ZTE Axon 10s Pro, as a follow-up to the Axon 10 Pro 5G launched in August. The latest smartphone is compatible with both 5G SA (standalone) and NSA (non-standalone) modes and will become commercially available in China in the first quarter. ZTE Mobile Device Device president Xu Feng said the company plans to next year introduce 15 more 5G terminal devices, including a 5G smartphone priced under CNY 3,000 in the first quarter.
The latest model features Android 10, the new flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 5G Mobile Platform with the X55 5G Modem-RF System, and Wi-Fi 6, featuring speeds of up to 1.2 Gbps in lab tests. The phone also supports multiple network connections, which means users can connect the device to two wireless networks, such as 2.4GHz and 5 GHz, simultaneously for higher stability and faster speeds. In addition, the latest smartphone has LPDDR5 RAM memory and UFS3.0 ROM storage. With Z-Booster 2.0, it allocates resources based on AI algorithms, better for gaming and multiple-task scenarios, ZTE said.
