
The smartphone runs Qualcomm's high-end Snapdragon 821 processor and claims to be the first smartphone in the world with 8 GB RAM. It includes three cameras to support the AR experience - a 23MP main camera, motion-tracking camera and depth-sensing camera, and features a 5.7-inch WQHD Super Amoled display and Android 7.0.
Asus also introduced the ZenFone 3 Zoom with advanced photo capabilities and a 5000mAh battery. It runs the Snapdragon 625 processor and comes with dual back cameras at 12 megapixels. One features a f/1.7-aperture, 25mm wide-angle lens and the second comes with a 59mm lens. Users can switch between the two to achieve a 2.3X optical zoom. The ZenFone 3 Zoom is also the first Asus smartphone with SuperPixel camera technology for very quick focus of photos at night or in low-light environments.
