T-Mobile USA brings VoLTE to Seattle
T-Mobile USA has launched Voice over LTE (VoLTE) in the Seattle area, available for existing LG G Flex and Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Light customers. The company said it is working on a LTE Advanced version of VoLTE, which it plans to roll out to more T-Mobile customers in the coming year. To use the new VoLTE, customers need to adjust their settings and get the latest software update. Rivals Verizon and AT&T have also announced in recent days plans to launch VoLTE.

T-Mobile US has launched T-Mobile Advanced Messaging, based on the Rich Communication Services (RCS) standard. Verizon Wireless announced the roll-out of voice services over its LTE network. T-Mobile US again raised its target for customer growth this year, after adding 1.5 million new subscribers in Q2. The mobile operator now expects retail postpaid net additions of 3.0-3.5 million this year, up from a forecast in May of 2.8-3.3 million. Verizon Wireless has announced that the next evolution in wireless calling, VoLTE, or Voice over LTE, will roll out to Verizon's nationwide customers later in the year. Hong Kong provider HKT and Huawei have launched Hong Kong's first Voice over LTE (VoLTE) service, available via the Samsung Note 3 LTE smartphone. AT&T introduces HD Voice, VoLTE in initial markets

AT&T is introducing HD Voice on an all-IP, Voice over LTE (VoLTE) network in select markets. HD Voice will be enabled on the Samsung Galaxy S4 mini beginning 23 May, allowing customers to simultaneously talk while accessing the internet at LTE speeds.
