Bollore replaces Meheut as Canal Plus chairman
Vivendi majority shareholder Vincent Bollore has replaced Bertrand Meheut as chairman of the Canal Plus supervisory board. The company has also increased the size of its management board, adding Jean-Christophe Thiery, chairman of Bollore Media, who also becomes chairman of the Canal Plus management board, and Julien Verley, who joined Canal Plus as CFO in 2006 and is the CEO of Polish subsidiary NC+. Maxime Saada continues in the role of Canal Plus CEO, following his appointment in June. Meheut will stay on as special advisor to Bollore on the transformation Vivendi aims to achieve with Canal Plus.

Vivendi's video content aggregation and distribution platform, Dailymotion, has promoted deputy chairman Maxime Saada to chairman. He replaces Cedric Tournay, who is leaving the company. Vivendi reports 4.5% revenue growth in third quarter

Vivendi reported revenue up 4.5 percent to EUR 2.52 billion in the third quarter, compared to EUR 2.41 billion in the third quarter of 2014. Canal Plus, Coriolis tie up for local govt fibre networks

French pay TV operator Canal Plus and fixed and mobile operator Coriolis Telecom agreed to offer their services jointly over local government-owned FttH networks, a move welcomed by French local authority infrastructure association Avicca.
