Deutsche Telekom considers job cuts, T-Systems sale - report
Deutsche Telekom is considering several options to reduce costs including cutting thousands of jobs in Germany, reports Reuters citing German newspaper 'Handelsblatt'. The newspaper cited unnamed sources who attended a meeting of management and supervisory board members.

Other options being considered include a partial sale of subsidiary T-Systems and a review of holdings in Greece and Eastern Europe. The report stressed that no formal decisions had been made yet. A company spokesperson told the paper that no new cuts were planned.

Board member in charge of T-Systems, Reinhard Clemens is leaving the company, and a new head of the unit will take over from the start of 2018. Deutsche Telekom has raised USD 2.75 billion in an offering of three-, five- and seven-year notes.
