Google calls on EU to create 'balanced regulatory framework'

Google has called on the European Union to create a "balanced regulatory framework" that adapts to future technological innovations and builds on the benefits that online services have provided European citizens and businesses over the past two decades. The company said it submitted a 135-page response to the EU's consultation on the upcoming Digital Services Act (DSA), which will serve to update the e-Commerce Directive adopted back in 2000.
